Effect of Fly Ash on Compressive Strength, Drying Shrinkage, and Carbonation Depth of Mortar with Ferronickel-Slag Powder

In recent years, efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have continued worldwide. the construction industry, a large amount of CO2 is generated during production Portland cement, and various studies are being conducted cement enable use substitutes. Ferronickel slag by-product by melting materials such as nickel ore bituminous coal, which used raw produce ferronickel at high temperatures. this study, we investigated fluidity, microhydration heat, compressive strength, drying shrinkage, carbonation characteristics ternary mortar including ferronickel-slag powder fly ash. According test results, heat FA20FN00 sample was slightly higher than that FA00FN20 sample. The 28-day strength mix approximately 39.6 MPa, other samples, whereas FA05FN15 15% 11.6% lower mix. shrinkage without highest after 56 days, ash showed lowest compared mixes.
